A popular social networking site, Twitter allows you to share your thoughts with fellow Tweeps. By default, every tweet is public, meaning everyone can view what you post.
With recent policy considerations by Elon Musk, who acquired Twitter, you now have the opportunity to reconsider how you interact with the platform and enhance your privacy.
If you prefer greater privacy, you can modify your Twitter settings to allow only your followers to see your posts.
This feature, known as protected tweets, grants you more control over your posts as you directly approve your followers and manage the tweets others can view.
Additionally, on iOS devices, you can disable sensitive content without setting the account to private, achieved by turning off the tweets’ sensitive content alert.
Your privacy preferences significantly impact the subjects and trends in your feed and what you view on the platform.
